    We have bottom dumps , powders and transfers as well. Powders and bottom dumps are automatics. Okay place to get some experience

    I will go and inquire at my local Robertson's in Gardena CA. But I really want to get manual transmission experience, anyone can drive an automatic. Thanks

    In that case I'd say do a schools refresher course. Being licensed already your eligible to do that and companies like to see that stuff. Probably still cheaper than commercial truck rental.

    Sure a loaded truck shifts different than a bobtail one but if you can do one you can do the other. Practicing driving a bobtail is better than no practice at all.
