I say go for it. Also charge alittle for other drivers to use your shop and maybe park there.

yeah i already went for it, i agreed to rent it back in December but 4 month's later finally moving in. the shop did come out really nice.
i probably could jog the trailer to the side of the bathroom but you would be doing it blind as the tractor would still be outside the shop. most likely any trailer work will end up being done with the shop door open not ideal but still better than working outside. this spring they are suppose to be putting concrete in, in front of the shops as well. -
You can always take a concrete saw and move the plumbing to the other side. Home Depot and any equipment rental has one. It shouldn't be too much of a project. Electrical being in EMT you can just add a junction box and extend it over to where you want. I'd say $500 if you done it yourself.
If not pull in nose first and use the tennis ball on a string trick.
I seen the other day they have a sensor and light for garages to warn you when you are close. That might come in handy for you.
Nice shop though. I can see hours of fun in there. -
Nice shop. I wouldn't mind having one just big enough for the tractor. One of these days..

If you can find one cheap, they used to make heaters that would burn waste oil, and they made so much heat they would run you out of the shop. Another thought for guys having their own shop, I have some friends that lease a warehouse, some store hot rods , boats and Harley's there. They also have a nice grill, big comfy couches, fridge and big screen tv with cable. The warehouse itself is nothing fancy, but it serves it's purpose very well. There are enough guys in there that it isn't very expensive, and gives them a place to hide from their wives. If you could find one with a door big enough to get your tractor in, might be worth looking into. Having your own clubhouse / shop will be just like being a kid again.
AdamCondoCruiser Thanks this. -
Do truckers still need to hide from their wives when they are gone so much? I suppose it depends on the wife.
OP - nice shop -
Those heaters do work good and an easy way to get rid of used oil.Jokingypsy Thanks this. -
