Looking for any suggestions for a brighter/whiter light than the headlights I got now...(4 sealed square beams...2lo/2hi). They are wagner and GE run-of-the-mill lights....
My options are limited since it isnt just a halogen capsule I can swap out of course...
Replacement Headlight suggestions

Headlight mfgs do make a brighter beam than the standard factory issue. (Halogens)
-
don't use sylvania silverstars they don't last more than a couple of months
-
you can convert them from sealed beam if you want. Sylvania used to offer a kit to replace the sealed beams to hollow housings which just use standard H4 bulbs.
Something similar to this.
I have no idea how well they work, just throwing out options. -
many pete dealers have the conversions also you get the lenses and the twist in halogen bulbs

I got a conversion for my KW and now I run 90 watt lows and 110 watt highs bought them from my skidoo dealer replacement sled lights they work great but are a tad bright for oncoming traffic

What SIZE or part numbers are the OEM lights??
H4651/H4653/H4666/H4656 ???
Well,
I ordered (2) H4656 (low beam) and (2) H4651 (high beam).
That appears whats right. The low beams have 3 wires and the high beams have 2 wires.Last edited: Sep 12, 2010

i have run sliverstars ST'S for over a year with no problems in my t600 and w900. or you can get a plug that will convert your setup to be able to go to the newer style.

Xenon bulbs give off more visible light than Halogen. They also focus better so if adjusted correctly don't blind on coming traffic that badly.

I ordered a set of Sylvannia bulbs today. No one had anything locally that wasnt just 'standard'. In fact, the Sylvannia bulbs the one store had, had GE HALOGEN bulbs inside..I was like ???
