Hey guys, I recently noticed a slight leak (not leaking over 2psi) but I can hear it and so can DOTbut its comming from the foot valve, but I sprayed some soapy water on it, and its a giant green hose thats leaking at the nut, I'm tempting to tighten it but am afraid to pinch the hose and make it worse.
any suggestions?

if you have enough slack and you know it is leaking at the nut and not where the brass nipple screws into the foot valve. get a new ferrule and nut and cut the line a half inch or so back and put it back on. cheap and easy, good luck.

I just put an '88 cab onto an old Star. The wrecking yard cut the air lines with a torch. I'm having to sort out a melted mess all the way back to the foot valve. The outlets are all labeled "supply#1 through #4". Where do these supply outlets go? Also, where does the foot valve get it's air from? I haven't been able to find a plumbing diagram for a Volvo-White valve. Any help would sure be appreciated.

See Bendix air brake handbook for complete schematics of air systems.
