Now I'm lost........I thought the 130-9710 was from a 3406E 800hp marine engine
-
Yep, just checked SIS, same cam used for both 3406e marine 800hp and C-18 millitary 700hp.
C16KIWI Thanks this. -
So safe to assume that this WOULD be a good cam to put in my MBN!
Thanks again for the input!kranky1 Thanks this. -
Any turbo recommendations for 800hp cam, 58 injectors, stock 7cz 600hp file, 15.2ltr C15

I have an ‘04 379 Pete with an MBN. We changed to a Borg Warner 78mm turbo and 58 injectors with a 550 hp tune. I recently bumped to a 600hp tune and it runs Good!! The factory MBN cam has a double bump/Fire profile so I asked my hot rod mechanic which cam he would recommend. He suggests a Factory 5EK cam because the marine cam won’t match with the 58 injectors. He said it would do 600 plus with that cam. I’m just telling you this because it is a totally different motor with the bigger turbo and injectors……. Totally worth the $$ I spent. And yes , I’ll have the 5EK cam soon, I can only imagine how good it will run then.
