Replacing front shocks on Freightliner Columbia 2006, what size of socket and how big of arm (pipe) do I need for these nuts. I can't use impact wrench, because the truck is on the truck stop, so all must be done by hand.

Where to buy these tools? I am thinking Harbor freight or Sears, I didn't check the Freightliner parts store.

Just measured the nut, 28mm is this 1-1/8?

I just finish replacing the shocks, you need 1 1/8 socket and 20-25" ratchet and the same size wrench or adjustable wrench, maybe new bolts, if the old ones are too rusty.

    Piece of Cake! 1hour job.

the last time I used to change shocks metric bolts were used with 21, 27 and 24 mm heads. But I saw bolt with 1" head (25 mm socket if metric marked)
