Replacing I-shift with manual transmission 10/13/18 ? Is it possible?

there is no ishift i know so far to have this kind of warranty is there by any chance you can get me last 6 of your vin that way i can call volvo up here and just confirm just out of curiosity cuz so far i have not heard of a warranty so short on i shift even penske and ryder get the 700K warranty.

 

To much horsepower for the tranny evidently they know that. That’s why the warranty is so short so don’t buy one with so much horsepower

 

Right there is why you NEVER buy the 500hp D13. Crap iShift warranty for only 45 more hp .... NO additional torque. Total waste.

My XE-455/1750 D13 iShift is 5years/750k ... I'm not worried one bit about problems, they're covered.

 

You better check your warranty again 435 horsepower is covered for five years anything over that is three years 250000 according to 2016 warranty information

 

People are trying to get rid of their I-shift but I am here actually wishing that I did have one. Gets to be tiring gear jammin’

personaly all i buy is xe package and ishift. i would not buy anything else i have not had any issues with them till about 800k and then wires and clutch and all good, with proper oil service first time i hear of problems. very suprised. also depends on the tech that is working on it if they guy is a moron than you end up with a trans very rare they go bad.

 

It’s not rare I know of a few already and when I brought to the mechanics attention he knew exactly what it was without dropping the transmission that tells me they are having a lot of problems with the bolts coming loose in the forks which means it’s a item that needs to be addressed by Volvo

 

I went through all this when I bought the truck, that's why i specd a 455xe instead of the D16 again or the 500hp D13.

Mine is 5yr/750k miles iShift

I Added warranty on engine and emissions to get 5yr/500k miles on them.

XE has the same TQ but only 45hp less which you'll never notice and not worth the lesser warranty or fuel mileage.
