Their website says they require 3 years experience. I like that even though I don't have anything close to 3 years. But, what it says to me is that they are all business, don't want a bunch of newbies running their freight.

I won't have any qualms about applying to carriers that ask for more experience than I'll have at the time I apply but I have no intentions of putting myself into a situation, particularly with a smaller carrier, where my performance can have a significant impact on the carrier's bottom line. I'm just not experienced enough for that yet. -

in the website, it was mentioned New Century owner has bought some other companies. i think he is building up for yet another sell out, since he's done that before. but when, is anyone's guess.JustSonny Thanks this. -

& it's not exactly "write your own ticket" for many of us, depending on where you're from.... the further north from Taxachusetts you get the harder it becomes as many outfits don't hire out of NH & ME.JustSonny Thanks this.
