I have been with pam going on now 6 months but here in the last 3 weeks it has been BS. I had asked off for my daughters bday which was the 18 Nov of 2010 and couldn't get home because the load planners said there were no loads heading towards my home. I live in Texas so tell me how hard is it to find a load going that way. Since I couldn't get home for that occasion I asked to be off for the 24-27 Nov of 2010 and I still ain't going that way and again I believe that the load planners don't want the drivers at home on time. I believe a happy driver is a better driver. So if you ever ask for time off expect to be home later than asked for. Pam is really full of it when they say they care.

I feel your pain man. My problem is a bit different, but I know what it's like to not get home in a timely fashion or sometimes at all.

I broke down 400 miles from home Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. Truck got fixed yesterday and it's likely I'll be sitting all weekend before I get a load heading home.

I think many companies will keep u out as long as possible and I agree a happy driver is a better driver.
