Frankly, if it were me, I'd tell them to GFY and leave. You'll be amazed how soon your phone will be ringing.
And when it does, you say, "Ok people, here's the dealeaooo.......to begin with, I'm not paying jack **** to anyone for any reason. Number 2. You have exactly 1 hour to get this **** off my trailer. After 1 hour, this truck is leaving. If there's someone inside it, well, he's going too. Number 3, this truck don't move until I see the deposit in my bank account. Everybody clear???"

See, people treat us like **** because we let them and it isn't until we go full on IDGAF that they get the message. Tell the broker you'll give him 4 hours to make a decision and make a deposit. After that, it's going to the local food bank and I'll bet they'll have you unloaded and on your happy way in less than an hour.

I started with fresh hours, first 1.30 to the first shipper , held there for 3.30 , 2 hour to my second pick, 45 min there , then 30+ in traffic, and u know I can't just drive straight man that not how our job should go, anyway I was gonna end up 1.30 away and to take 10h break to fresh my hours, that's why I stopped earlier and did a split shift, I know I could of take it on personal or lognout, but that not what I wanna do or drive all night and be exhausted on the next day feeling like ####, I've done it enough, our job should be respected for what it is, nobody wanna work extra for less pay, I don't brake my back for these brokers and shipper when the price is not right, but even if it's right , you as a driver should look out what's best for yourself

U can't expect to make top money from every load, I had a good load on the way there but dude there is no good load in New England, most carriers won't even go there but the load to there are top pay , it's difficult to get out even with a load, at lest now they pay 2 dollar a mile back in the days this area use to pay 1

Do you see the market this days and have u ever deliver to New England states , this was one of the best loads possible plus im from Maryland, wanted to go home for Christmas, plus the load was 20000 pound, most loads there are 44000, it's easy to say cheap, what u gonna do? drive empty 550 miles home? I've done it, I was going to if there was no load, if u never drive in this area, u have no idea whats going on, and which load is not cheap load this days? Most of yall are afraid to even drive East, good luck finding a good load when u end up in Massachusetts
