First off, no you didn't. You didn't schedule enough time to do the load under ideal conditions. Then, when faced with issues you didn't get the appointment rescheduled BEFORE you showed up to deliver. Keep in mind that I've picked up/delivered to your first stop AND delivered to your consignee.

Secondly, did you have 'escape clauses' in the rate con? I.E. 'not responsible for delays at shipper'? We have a customer whose location instructions include a line saying "if not in a dock door by appointment time call in, if OTD is in jeopardy due to shipper issues, call in and document". If we document the delay, it becomes the shipper's problem for delays due to missing the delivery appointment.

You're trying to run your one truck operation like a mega carrier. Mega carriers can eat the costs on one load because the lane makes a profit overall. A solo truck cannot work that way.

Should've quoted my post instead - learned a lot about what not to do from him.

You came on here and asked for advice. The comments from some of the members weren't what you wanted to hear, so you get an attitude. You don't know any of these people, what they drive or where/how they run, but keep commenting like you do. There are a lot of years of experience behind their comments.
