    No not this silly drifting I mean trailer on light or empty from a standstill big billowing clouds of tire smoke that take 2 or 3 sixteenths off the tires. That is a John Force burnout.

    IMO the future for heavy duty trucks is a hybrid powertrain akin to how a locomotive operates. You could even replace the heavy lump of iron with a turbine power module like how the M1 Abrams is powered by a Honeywell AGT1500.

    These purely electric trucks are just rolling laboratories.

    I don't know how the guys burning gas pay road use tax in total, but most states have been collecting a fair amount of that on diesel at the pump.

    So there's that to consider, too. Hydrogen fuel cells to generate electricity were supposed to be here, but I haven't been reading about that, either, lately.

    Isn’t there a movie about a team who was literally about to introduce a new form of energy and power that would quickly render the oil and gas industry to relic status and all these people kept ending up dead and the research files and data disappeared?

    I could imagine a road that didn't need repair, the one I used to live on was redone the right way over 20 years ago, and it's not bad yet, traffic isn't heavy, though, either until the grain starts moving alot.

    They are doing a better job on them, now.

    Good luck finding a hotel with truck parking who will let you charge that monster up on their power. Plus. What do they need? 220 VAC 60 amp service?

    440 three phase industrial, the demand charge will kill this quickly, I believe.

    The CNG trucks and the gas fired power plants and LNG exports already affects the price for home heating with natural gas.
