It's there if you need it, my timing precludes needing it, but if you run solar powered, with the herd, and need to be in late for any reason, it is a valuable service, in many areas, not just the northeast. It's really useful for people on restrictive E-logs where moving around as space permits might result in a violation.

Some places encourage oversized to use it as they are usually some of the easier spots to park in.

I haven't been to that Loves on Hickman /US6 (Clive, IA?) in a very long time, maybe once since it became a Loves.

i would certainly pay for a spot at times.regarding the bobtails,i generally attempt to park in the car lot when b'ting and have never had a problem.hadn't bobtailed in a while but do see problems w/too many parking in full truck spots as opposed to leaving them for trucks/trls.an example is werners at the pilot in columbia,sc. i counted ten taking up the spots a couple weeks ago.

something just not right about that as they could double up since i am almost positive they are waiting for the same place to get their trl from-

Whenever I'm picking up in Tucson at Solar Industries, I bobtail to the TTT and buddy up with another bobtail.

I use this service when I know im going to be late getting to the truck stop.
The only thing I don't like, it's non refundable and non cancelable. Once you reserve it, you better use.
Been waiting for some one in TA/ PETRO upper management to tell me a valid reason why there are no refunds . There are times that something may prevent you from even getting to the truck stop. IE: Break down.

you must realize it is other drivers that cause this to happen too
some drivers would reserve spots everyday all along their route
just get refunds and still the people that need the spots or want the spots
    would be left out

    SHO-TYME Thanks this.

If you don't want give them your money don't go there. It's their property and business so they can do and charge what they want.

Spending your money just because its deductible isn`t very smart either. You`ll run out of money long before you run out of deductions.

Somebody once told me that if you can't afford to be a truck driver you should find a real job
