I remember those reserved signs like it was yesterday. That wouldn't work today due to people playing on their I-pads and phones and hanging out at the tables after eating.

I almost never sit in the truckers section, anyway. I got tired of listening to deaf truckers screaming into cellphones, or headsets.

We have drivers here on the entertainment side that can tell some stories. Like really insane stories. Like how Brad Paisley hurt his hand and the driver was the only one able to play guitar and he wowed the crowd and Brad but chose to stay trucking instead. Yup.

It was really 22.5 hrs--but I had a Federal Marshall in an unmarked Trans Am runnin my front door!
