Probably not much at all, but you can recoup that with renting to other drivers.
My friend pays $27 a month where he lives, but it depends on where you are in Las Vegas area.
I pay $245 a month, so that shows you the difference, depending on where you live. -
Ok, thanks for the responses. My passport is expired at the moment. My CDL is good until 2021. No real ID on there yet but I am considering getting it when I renew. I eventually want to buy property here. I guess if I'm going to pay rent for an apartment.. might as well get a house loan. lol. I don't have any furniture anyways just a couple boxes so not worried about thieves.. I'd probably get ADT on the house or something.

I use a PMB. At Americas Mailbox in Box Elder SD. It’s right next to the flyingJ.
I use that because I take so little home time. They’ll take care of any packages. Mail a “shipment” of what I accumulated to my main terminal. They’ll take care of car registration. They’ll scan mail for you to see OTR.
I haven’t had any problems others mention. Admit I haven’t yet put my PMB on my license. I do live in Box Elder. Own a house there.
There is no state income tax in SD.Rocknroller4 and skellr Thank this. -
My ups box works fine for my CDL. What is the problem? But the others are right, just leave your address the same for now.
Rocknroller4 and skellr Thank this. -
I don't think it will be a major problem. However those things you need are exacting. Check your DMV office for what they will ask for.Rocknroller4 Thanks this. -
I don't know about other states, but here in California, because of the large homeless population, you can use a PO Box as your address for a driver's license or ID. I looked into it when I had the same question about OTR (but decided when I get to that point, I'm going to use a friend's address). What they do is give you a relay address. Something like, Your Name, Street address (that's not the same address as the post office), #XXX, City, State, Zip. Then the mail gets forwarded to your PO box. If they do it here, I don't see why other states wouldn't.

Nevada has started/or has been doing, five year vehicle tag registrations... Don't need to go in every year for some sort of "inspection". kinda nice.
COBB2070 Thanks this. -
Rocknroller4, otismyman and COBB2070 Thank this.
