I’m sorry, but I’ve never understood that mindset. Maybe it’s the generation I grew up in, I don’t know.
The thing is, I don’t consider it “extra effort”. In my view, the job is not complete until I’ve ensured that their product is minimally protected. In fact, unless they specified that it be left in the driveway, I would feel guilty not putting it in a garage.

I am also only using a standard pallet jack that I have to pull. These women at these homes will not help.

Again, maybe it’s a generational thing. I’m 52, but I was a late child to WWII parents who lived through the Great Depression as children. I honestly believe it was a completely different mindset to what’s prevalent today.Blackshack46 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
These women have men to pay for their half million dollar homes and will not lift a finger to help or even be polite to the delivery guy.

I threw my water bottle in the trash instead of out the window. Where is my tip?
Blackshack46, Texas_hwy_287, JReding and 1 other person Thank this. -

I hope that maybe someday you’ll understand that sometimes you just do the right thing, regardless of whether anyone else does.Gearjammin' Penguin, Blackshack46, Texas_hwy_287 and 3 others Thank this. -
Ok JReding. I just felt the need to vent about this. I tip people who come to my house and I was feeling frustrated about people who don't tip.

Holy #### this thread went viral this morning. Usually this sub forum is really slow in the morning.
Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
I appreciate the replies and thanks for letting me vent my frustrations. You guys should tip the guys who deliver heavy freight to your homes. It's a tough job.
