Only 4 days. I was sent home with about 10 other drivers.

Ok since you were never given a truck or put under dispatch you never worked for them. You went to a training seminar. Plus since you never worked for them why put them down?

Only 4 days? You were still in orientation? I wouldn't say anything about it either.
Still you will have to explain what you were doing since getting your CDL, explain that gap in employment. "I was looking for local work" etc.

I would check your DAC report at hireright.com make sure there not on your report and if not forget about listing them. Call Alice at Millis there school is good and you will get 15000 plus miles you driving all those miles before you are turned loose.

Good idea. Then apply with some companies with some lengthy training then once you're comfortable, move on to another company if you want.

mabye just leave them off the job app?

there are plenty of short term jobs iv had that i never listed on a single application, like the one where i quit by leaving a sex tape with the bosses daughter on his desk. or a job that i only worked for a few days then said screw this and never came back. if you only worked a very short period of time then the gap wont look suspicious. if you were not paid for your training then you defiantly can leave them off.

if they reported your employment to dac you or other reporting agency then you may be stuck with reporting your employment with them. however i have worked for a company that subscribed to dac worked for them for a decent period of time and the only dac record the left was basically just that they looked up my dac report. same as other company i have applied for in the past but never worked for.

if you apply to a company and leave them off and a company comes back asking about a report they found on you by them you can say yes i applied there i showed up for training but ultimately never worked for them.

The best response to put in that box on your application is either "voluntary" or "involuntary".

I have found that over the years that this is really what they are looking for, if they want further details they will ask for specifics.

This also works out better for the applicant as those boxes rarely have enough room fill the details.

A buddy of mine did our boss's wife and had pictures to prove it.

I don't understand why anyone would do that. I know it's pretty common, but I don't get it.

The only time I felt it was humorous was when a guy I was stationed with in the Navy found some pictures of his wife with another man involved in sex acts & he mailed them to her parents and relatives, then divorced her.
