That's why you gotta love Florida. They have more rest areas on their interstates than they know what to do with. And most of them are pristine and have security. Hell, they could give away a few of them to a state such as Arkansas, the absolute a-n-u-s of America (or is it Jersey?), and still have more than enough left over for us to enjoy.
Jaebo74, tommymonza and homeskillet Thank this. -
We came down I-75, stopped at the first r/a we came to, went inside to "freshen up".
There was a lady behind a small counter right inside the door.
"Hi, welcome to Florida! Would y'all care for a cup of orange juice or grapefruit juice?"
We said, "Sure, catch ya on the way out."
Going back to the car, my wife was beside herself......
"Free juice! Can you believe it? How many states have we traveled through since we've been together? Lots! How many gave us free juice? Exactly NONE, until now! (Sip) And fresh too! I LOVE this state! This is how it should be done...." etc etc.
She STILL brings it up every so often. "Remember the free juice in Florida?"
Well done!tommymonza and Lite bug Thank this. -
