Rest In Peace, Providence Transportation...

I just found out last week that my previous company is closing the doors on their distribution and transportation departments. A crying shame, they had a good thing going and they squandered it with mismanagement and politics from on high. Now the rest of the crew I know and worked with will have to start all over again. Makes me sick.

 

In this case, Providence is simply getting out of the game, and Medline is stepping in to fill the gap. Medline had wanted for several years to step in and control the operation, but now it is being completely shifted over to them.

 

I left back in March due to health and safety concerns, after five years of driving nights I never made the adjustment and was driving drowsy or falling asleep behind the wheel. I resigned and now I’m working for Wilson logistics, they been treating me really well here. I wouldn’t go to Medline anyway, I would’ve had to take about a $10 per hour pay cut.
