If you go off the macro 27 fuel route have your FM approve it first.

The bridge coming back into Ashland, KY from Ironton, OH is rated at 40T also. I do not see a posting for going over it to Ironton, guess they put a new one in since 2008
When with US X husband would cross over nearer Huntington.albert l Thanks this. -

US 33 is one of the main highways through southeast Ohio. They do do a good job of keeping it clear. One quick note, should you choose to go the way I suggested, navigo may not have a newer bypass around Nelsonville Ohio mapped out yet. At least the last time I ran that way a few months ago they didnt. Dont sweat it if you "float" for a coupel miles, the maps may not be updated yet.
Logans main roads are comprised of various State routes, should be an easy trip in town. just make sure to watch your tracking on the tandems around any turns.albert l Thanks this. -
so, how did it go?

I never got a training period. My 8th day driving solo, my Rand McNally TND 720 took be through Wild Cat Mountain State Park in Wisconsin. There was no fun. First hill, tractor going downhill while the trailer is still going uphill with a very sharp corner 10 feet infront of me. I stopped to doublecheck and call someone if this is the route to take. I was pressing the bake so hard, all the air bleed out and alarms were going off before I could dial. Thought I had an air brake problem. I could not fathom just how a wrecker could even pull me from where I was. After my boss walked me through checking the brakes for leaks and everything checked out, ecxept that when I was pressing the brake to push in the red and yellow's, I would loose all air. FAST. He said, how hard are you pressing that brake? Like my life depended on it, I replied. That was a problem. Two week later, I would love to run it again. -
