My exact sentiments, early afternoon ####tail hour? a few prune daiquiris:).

I order on line for years but you have to know the product. Thousands of dollars in auto parts every year. Also bought a few autos on line sight unseen. Usually 2 to 4 days delivery other than stuff from China. Some of that is a week to months, usually tied up in customs.. I ordered case of flashlights from China May 24, they still in transit:)
I had a Visa hacked last year, someone bought American Airline tickets with a card I only use for online purchases. Not a issue, it got charged back. Visa could see when and where it was hacked. Hacker did a $1.00 purchase to see if card # valid then went to town!

I had my identity stolen,,I got it back from thief with a letter of condolences and $20 bill:)

I can't buy something without seeing it in person. I actually enjoy going to the store instead of just clicking online.

I've shopped online exactly once. I don't really care for it. Why be a basement dweller when you can go out and flirt with all the pretty gals working at the stores?

Those are not jobs to build a life on. It's not far from minimum wage and Retail is dying. Has been for decades. It is better and easier to order something online and ship it to your house than to physically go out and endure crowds and nasty staff to search for the thing you need.

There is a section of unemployed people they do not count. Those who have stopped looking for work. Those are not counted. A few years ago it was around 85 million people. 46 million were on SNAP benefits, which is not that much for a single worker without children, it's 16 dollars a month. Now that states have implemented work rules for able bodies under 50 SNAP participation has falling 80% or more, not voluntarily.

If someone is living at 4800 dollars in billion and bringing home 5200 then they are already on the way to bankrupcy. I remember when we owned our house, payment was 330, insurance 350 making for almost a 800 dollar a month nut. Throw in 400 dollars a year property tax for everything that's another 30 or so per month.

Then the electricity, gas, water, internet, telephone service to the home was around 500 a month total creating a 1300 a month minimum required to stay living in that home. When you bring in a 3000 dollar a year bug bill (Ternimix contracted services) you are up to about 1600 a month. You cannot live well in a home free of pests, snakes etc.

That 5200 would be very very wealthy with a less than 2000 dollar home problem. Throw in 1000 dollars a month gasoline for two cars, 500 in food for two people and the rest is for whatever comes up that month. You are still doing at least a thousand in the clear if not 1500.

We brought in between 3000 and 4000 during our home owner years. No problem. If the house needed a replacement of it's entire electrical system, AC system that was 18,000. A installation of a 550 foot sewer pipe was about 8600 water line was a thousand, new roof 3000. (And this was beyond code with 120 mph shingles and 30 pound weight felt among other things) All of these things were done cash. The bathroom was replaced during 9-11 for 12K after storm damage destroyed it. Another 15000 dollars in improvements were done to the home during it's life time. All cash. Problems easily solved. Write a check and bank pays the handyman who did the work.

These are just few of the problems we ran into during our almost 20 years here in Arkansas with our home. We sold it to pay the student loans off which stood at about 36,000 dollars remaining for both of us after one worthless 4 year degree and one worthless pile of credits for a 2 year. We made a few dollars after paying that off. But we should not have to sell a home to get clear of uncle sam. It was a mistake to go to college the way we did. even bigger mistake to try and stay in college seeing how it's bloated with classes unrelated to whatever it is you are trying to become in life. Iiberal arts? HA forget it. what a waste. Poor kids.

Flood insurance was another waste. We bought into it at 400 per month to FEMA for about a year. But realized that our land, specifically our elevation where we were will never flood. It will take a Biblical event to flood and if that ever happened, the whole state would be refugees anyhow. It needs about 8 inches in any 12 hour period to close off many roads including Little Rock from us for a while and 12 inches in any 24 hour to assure it stays closed a while. We had two hurricanes pass through leaving 30 inches those years in 5 days. It got really wet but did not flood. If we had a earthquake our insurance deductable was 18500 meaning we would have to pay the first 18500 on the foundation and associated losses first before the provider will kick in the rest of the policy agianst a replacement home. If we ever had the new madrid fault break on us that big we expect 5 waves of 7.2 to 8.2 in that event against Little Rock in our sandy valley soil by the Mississippi river region. It would be expected to kill 3000 of 6000 people and hurt half of those who did not get killed in our town. Little Rock expects about 40,000 dead out of 250,000 and half of those who were not killed would also be hurt and 70% would be homeless. Memphis and st louis would be a burning ruin. If the 40 bridge failed then the east coast will experience famine because you cannot get enough trucks to the east to feed everyone. Not with the out of routes through Alabama and across Desmoines.

4800 in bills on 5200, that can be cut down quite a bit. First by moving to the south and stop living like the Kadishcians (Spelling) You probably wont be able to maintain the 5200 income in the south but you don't need anywhere half that much anyway each month here.

If I had to maintain a 5200 a month income for trucking all my life, it would not happen period. Ive had to live on less than a thousand each month and do it well. I usually did when I had a sleeper truck to stay in with hardly no bills to speak of back in those days, only build up savings against the times where there is no payroll whatever. (9-11 was the ultimate. We had 12,000 in savings when our Payroll contractor and their staff were destroyed in the towers) and it was 6 weeks before we saw a updated paycheck. Those savings kept us moving in that big truck. I hate to think that we might have quit and then lost our home if we did not have any savings against that horrible day. Our enemies know that if they want to hurt America, they don't need to defeat it on the Military side, (They cannot) but they have to strike at you, and more specifically your money. If your money went away for 6 weeks or more with no dime to your name, how are you going to pay the bills? Feed the kids? Put gasoline into your vehicles? If you are not in a position to do any of this then our enemies win. It's that simple.
