    Mosquitoes! I don't care what they say, they have mosquitoes the size of small birds. We went through the canal four years ago and you couldn't go out on deck without being attacked.
    We also spent some time anchored waiting for a pilot . We were told it might be as long as a week before we got one. Funny thing, but when enough money had changed hands we had a pilot the next day.
