It is either exempt or non-exempt.

    There is no excepted.
Or is it worded differently in different states?

    Ah... that's why.
In MN if you are changing from intrastate to interstate you have to apply for a duplicate license and pay the fees.
I guess that would be to remove that restriction.

Since the woman at my DMV put me at Exempt Interstate, that is the way to go. Not intrastate.

Seasonal mail hauling is pretty easy. Better hurry, though.

Truck Driving Jobs at 10 Roads Express

I suspect you would fill out an application, take a 10 minute road test, then drive to the local post office for a temporary postal badge.

We got about 3 1/2 inches of snow here in Wisconsin and I’m sitting here in the front picture window with my coffee and my feet up in the air. I don’t have to go out. I’m loving this .that’s retirement ha ha ha

I could see trucking is in your blood for a long time like many of us . I did the same thing . thought of losing my CDL. not a chance , I’m hanging on it. I’ve had that thing for 49 years.

I’m retired now enjoyed it very much but there’s gonna be a day or two out there that I wanna want to jump back in the truck just for the heck of it and I will so I’ll keep my CDL. But the jump on the truck will be for a day or two . I’ll be back out of it. It would be very short-lived

There should be a single spot on the site alone that says teamsters without the UNION TEAMSTERS there wouldn’t have been any trucking .teamsters started this country trucking. We should have an open spot titled . just my opinion ha ha ha ha. Sure you’re gonna get the ones that are anti union but they don’t need to click on it. Just like a lot of other things here you’d like to click on. And I don’t mean no hidden spots in politics or something like that we need the regular button to click on UNION TEAMSTERS

You know I’m coming up on my first year retirement being out of truck for a year. I really like it ha ha ha ha. Social Security gave me a 2 1/2% raise which came out to almost $80 extra a month
