Retirement Planning?

Hello all -

Is retirement planning a major concern (along with all the others) for independent truckers and are SEP-IRA's well known in the industry?

The reason I ask is that we recently relocated and the independent trucker with NA Van Lines was not familiar with this type of retirement planning account.
