Let’s just establish that your already Nuts. After all You wanted to Drive Trucks, and did it. You wanted to Drive Trains, and did it. That’s really Nuts. I’m sure you’ve heard your share of discouragement. Like all of Us have, maybe more. Now you want to drive Trucks again. I’d say you qualify, as Nuts. Should be no problem, whatever you decide to do. Should fit right in. Being retired already. I guess it all depends on how deep into it you want to go. Not sure about the car hauler thing. Always wanted my own Trailer, full of cars. Almost bought a 7 car quick Loader,12 yrs ago, then the Industry slowed. They were giving them away, about half price. Shortage of cars right now. I wonder what the markets doing. Lots of complaints about rates, before covid. Sure to be a backlash, maybe a shortage of Car haulers once the chip shortages are corrected. I wonder myself. Something to look into before buying a Car hauler though, due to the high insurance. Timing might be important. You can always Buy a Truck that’s versatile, like a mid roof. I wouldn’t waste time with Leasing onto others, if you’re Own Authority is the goal. Skip the BS. You already have the knowledge and experience of age to figure things out and do it right. With the high price of equipment right now, might want to do some research and weigh everything out. Go for it. I see Immigrants who barely speak English, running multiple Truck Companies. They don’t think about drawbacks, only Opportunities. It’s amazing, even Impressive. The questions they ask Me sometimes makes Me wonder how they survive. They do.
