    Hey @Chinatown any recommendations for a driver in Pittsburgh. 3 years exp clean driving record. No accidents no tickets. And not Leonard’s. Been there done that. Op sorry to highjack your thread. Local dump trucking just isn’t working out. Thanks.

    Call Nick at Inland Xpress, Salt Lake City, Good equipement, run with them 48 state for 6 months to a year. I like working for them thet treated me very well, I kind of had a simular situation of non verifible employment for a coouple of years.

    Talked with Melton… and here’s the verdict:


    Unless I’ve got five months of verifiable OTR in the last 36 months — as in actually sleeping in the truck — they treat me the same as a four-wheeler with no clue what a cage bolt even is.


    So yeah… driver shortage, right?


    Thank you all for the replies so far… I’m going to start checking out the recommendations y’all have thrown out. Would being based in okc change or exclude any?

    I really can’t afford to go much longer without income, and I definitely can’t afford to pay for schooling just to prove I already know how to watch my mirrors, read signs, and stay between the lines.
