Ok, might be a dumb ? But here goes. Just graduated and we had this nifty sheet with all the shift info for the school trucks. Went on an interview monday and had a roadtest. I know EVERY truck is different, but on a new truck, how do you figure this out? I shifted up no prob, but down and skipping was a bear! And it was a newer volvo so no forgiveness. Thanks yall!
Rev/drop question for you pros...

Why not memorize the "top" speed in each gear the first time you slip seat to a different truck? Notice the speedometer at the rpm you normally upshift, allowing for progressive shifting. Write it down.
