revenue: what is the going charge per mile for a reefer load, and a dry freight load?

    What kind of percentage can be asked for fuel surcharge on top of that?

    Just cause it's dry and/or light weight doesn't necesarily make it cheap - unless you're in bad area. Even in a good area they will sell you on it cheap if you let them. Cause as every reefer owner knows dry freight is the cheap stuff, right???? Drivers can be their own worst enemy on some things makes you an easy sell for cheap dry freight in your reefer every time.

    The type of product is NOT what determines the rate.

    It is how soon they need it moved and the availability of trucks to move it.
