You would have to ask an O/O most company drivers can't take take you out there are rules and for insurance purposes they just can't do it
-
woudn't hurt to ask, though. Contact the company -either ops division or safety. Explain what you are doing, why, etc. They may let you do it if you sign a waiver - or they may ask you to pay.
Also, I've heard tell of organizations that actually find drivers/companies for folks who want to rid along. Now you know as much about them as I do -
I can take along anybody I want in my truck, but I'm selective. You need to post more info and a pic wouldnt hurt either.
Can I ask what type of class a 20 year old kid takes in college to study trucking? -
By selective do you mean 'female only'
JK - but the picture request sorta brought that to mind. -
I never even thought of it as a chick making the request. But hey, I'll be happy to take a hot 20 year old along. Indeeeeeeeeeeeed
I leave for Miami tomorrow. Be back mid week. -
Check out the pic in the profile it looks like a guy
-
hrm - maybe I'm showing my bias.. and I may get my sitdownupon in a sling - but I think it looks more like a gal. -
-
Well i'm a guy and i don't think I look like a girl maybe you need a break for awhile. I could prove it but
lol
anyway you asked about school My class is developing a nw headlight system for class 7,8 truck's.
And thank's to all I have found a trucker who is going from Fairbanks Alaska to Seattle,Wa perfect in test site
Thanks again.
p.s.
The new headlight system would turn right or left up or down for better sight.they also are going to self ajust by microchip.
So when you truckers go around corner or bend in road light will follow .So when your lights are in use you turn your steering wheel headlamps will follow.
thanks again cyr89
