Ride quality of ISO tank chassis trailers

    I presently haul them dedicated ... never thought I was a masochist, but subjecting my truck(s) and myself to ISO's definitely proves I like pain.

    Have a 285in wb W9, it gets pushed around less and tends to drive straighter than a short wheelbase light truck. Due to the weird spread axle suspension setup, the walking beam/spring combo types will vibrate/hop/bind/etc at random speeds. Can feel like you have an egg shaped steer tire, or that you have a toasted u joint on the truck, when it's all in the trailer. The chassis will always ride horrifically.

    I have hauled them on regular chassis and the iso chassis in Pennsylvania, I hands down love hauling them in a regular chassis better riding, better fuel economy and the turning ratio improves
