Part of the reason Knight Swift bought out US Express was the fact that going direct to shippers adds 80 to 90 cents a mile on average... If the amount of leverage a company that size had leaves 80 to 90 cents on the table think of what these low volume brokerages pocket on average...
Ridiculous TQL offer on a load going 548 miles.

Eliminate one set of known problems for another set of partially unknown problems, it's a complete trade off. Verifying the actual execution of obligations as you stated takes time. One of the largest overlooked aspects of business is controlling risk. What you're proposing would probably increase fraud due to how many Intermediaries are involved.gekko1323 Thanks this.

It's really a shame. I worked for TQL and did my best every day to make sure drivers were taken care of and always spoke up when some young ##* hat was being rude. My dad has been an driver for well over 35 years and so, I guess I just came into with a different perspective. I was also 10 years older than the fresh 20-something year-olds they hire aggressively.Siinman Thanks this. -
I get a few calls from them that are decent. But most the time they do not want to pay. I am always nice to them and when they send replies back with all the little buddies copied on a quote and laugh. That just shows most of the nature they want in the office. I feel for the good people that work there that get pushed into that group and get a bad name.
I love working with people that are honest and understand everyone needs to win to stay in business and grow relationships.Jubal Early Times and TheLoadOut Thank this.
