Do you have budd wheels or hub pilot? 1 1/2" lugs isn't enough info becasue their are 1 1/2" lugs for hub pilot too.

Hub Pilot - Usually use a 33mm socket, but many older trucks used a 1 1/2" socket. The threads are the same, just a little larger outside for 1 1/2" socket. The wheel is centered by the hub tabs. Smaller, straight holes through the wheel, all studs are right hand thread. Both wheels go on ans 1 set of lug nuts hold them both.

Budd (stud pilot) - Has inner and outer lug nuts. The lug nuts center the wheel. The outer used a 1 1/2" hex socket, the inner use a 15/16" square socket. Left hand hubs have left hand threaded studs, right hand hubs have right hand threaded studs. The stud holes in the wheels are chambered to fit in the tapered part of the lug nuts. The inner wheel goes on and gets held on by the inner lug nuts (sometimes called thimbles). Then you put the outer wheel on and the outer lug nuts tighten down to the inner lug nuts.

Some hubs can work with either style wheel, but the studs would need to be changed. Generally speaking, if the hub has the 4 large centering tabs, you can usually change the studs and convert from budd to hub pilot.

Hub pilot and stud pilot Wheels are not compatible. It's just as Northern Mechanic said on your previous post. They will not interchange you have to change out the front hubs to use his wheels on your truck.
