We just got a new 2016 Landoll. On the bed, about 2' from the end, there is a piece of flat metal that forms the approach plate. When wet, wheeled equipment has trouble spinning out on the slick metal. I've been contemplating putting Rino lining on it but wonder if it will hold up. We only haul wheeled equipment on this trailer, no tracks.

We've got a older Trail King traveling axle trailer that we welded cross hatches on the approach plate but I have trouble grinding off the powder coat paint and doing that to this new trailer. Does anybody have any thoughts about the durability of Rino lining in this application?

You better check the grip factor before trying the Rhino lining.

When Rhino lining is dry it would probably help a bit. If it's wet I do not believe it would be much help.

Google "non slip paint for metal surfaces" - you should find something on there that is designed to accomplish what you need to do.

Well that wouldn't help much. I don't have any problems now when it's dry

Call up a Line X dealer, and see if they have a textured medium they can add...

Auto parts stores sell roll on bed liner, i experimented putting in on my deck. But i drag pallets ect.. across every day. So it gouged up quick. I used a brush to go for a smooth finish, they have rollers that give texture for traction. It will definitely work. Just do proper prep.
