Here is what is really going on: Everything he says is true except if you are a true o/o, i mean in which the truck is actually yours you should be ready to change out your front end..they say in the contract you have to be able to scale 45000 in the box but the loads are as hi as 46200 that gravy fed ex load he is talkin about is true around 14000 but at the other end will be a niagra water load 45518 pounds through pa ma into va and there you will sit because the lost there costumer in va to get you out ip closed that plant...if you are lucky you might get a beer run out 45400 pounds. 90% of the loads are over 40,000. no they do have uline loads that are light but it seems only teams and partner companies get them.
so they pull heavy all the time ok. lets talk tires he didn't mention the unless you can prove unavoidable road hazzard you pay the service call and tire cost. Yes am serious. they put these stickers up on the trailers a few months ago that say 1.07 a mile 2700 miles garenteed this is true but what they dont say is whe only pay currently .16 fuel surcharge and you have to stay out all week to get that 2700 if you go home it will be a 1800 to 2000 mile week. the office has rotated the dispatchers are new and green combined I don't think there is a year of exper. between them except for one which does count he work a local company that already had loads he just put trucks to the local drivers i mean the planners are good 2 are exper. rod and ummm bob i think but after baby sitting the dispatchers all day the are wore out and you sit. Now for teams Rose is your dispatcher she is good and will run you to death. take this how you want, i personally am glad i left. p.s. if u get in with K.C.M's trucks make sure to ask about the keepin YOUR fuel kick back dont forget! you pay for it and the kick back goes to them. hmmm better yet risinger is ok with that. they dont care they need a body in a truck. this is what happens to a good company with bad leadership! good luck be safe and the best to u and ur families

yes you did do 3000 miles monday to monday but you pay week is sun to mon so you check will only be for roughly 2200 miles minus deductions you made 600 dollars with a 800 mile carry over good luck with that hand

bigkid2 I truely hope it is working for you but please understand these drivers have families to take care of the wrong move could potently hurt them so instead of posting mon to mon in which splits your week post sun to sat which is what you paid for and make sure you post that the volve your in that 07 sweet ride you were talkin about with 700,000+ miles on it has a 30,000 $ buy out at the end. and also make sure to let everyone know that when you pick out your truck that at least 15 of the 25 volves they have are sitting in the yard returned. stick to the facts. it was a good company and could get back to it but right now they are stuggling. i still have a good friend running for them his miles use to be insane now i think he is looking, if you would like i could call him and let you know what your sun to sat miles are or you could just be up front with the guys on here tring to better themselves for them and there families. good luck bigkid2 in truck 10 thousand and ....

Thanks for clarifying other issues. Everyone wants to make a decent living. Unfortunately companies are greedy to pay.

Since I started here 1 week shy of 4 months ago I have put 54000 miles on this truck. My lowest weeks check has been $600 and I was off for 4 days that week. My highest weeks check has been $2300 and my average is about $1350. I run hard all the time and no I do not go home on weekends which I choose to do. I stay out about a month and then take 4 or 5 days off. So far since July 1st I have made about $11000 in profit. Yes the way they pay is screwy because you get fuel on Saturday while under a load that don't deliver til Monday the fuel comes out of your check this week but you don't get paid for the trip to the following week. I have enough money in the bank though that I don't worry about it because it all comes out the same in the end.

I never said it is a sweet ride in fact it is a piece of junk that had 485,000 on it when I got it and now has 539,000 on it less than 4 months later. True there is a 30k or more buyout on it which I will not be paying because it is not worth it. You mentioned tires but I am not too worried about them because I have 10 new tires on the truck because I told Joe it needed them so Wingfoot put them on before I ever left. I figure my miles on here from Monday to Monday because usually I am on a long load over the weekend which delivers on Monday. This weekends load is 1505 miles which means I will have 1505 miles for this next week already on Monday morning. To be honest if your friend is not getting good miles I would say he is doing something wrong because I get good miles every week and yes I am loaded heavy most of the time and right now I have 37k in the box.

I have never sat without a load for more than a few hours. Yes IP closed Franklin but now we get tea out of Lipton that goes to Georgia usually that is light or we pick up at IP in Chester. My fleet managers last name is Risinger so he has probably been here for awhile. Put 54000 miles on this truck in less than 4 months and yes I almost always work the weekend. I work about a month then take 4 or 5 days off. I am in this to make money if I wanted to be home on weekends I would not have leased a truck. As for the KCM lease drivers yes that is true KCM keeps the fuel discount money which is just ridiculous but if those drivers let them do it that is their problem but I am not a KCM lease driver I lease directly from Risinger so I don't have that problem.

ok well good luck with them 4 or 5 weeks is a long time not to see ur family. and i was talking about trailer tires, you have to pay for trailer tires if you cant prove unavoidable road hazzard but it was different for me i have my own truck with the 100$ escow. anyway best of luck to you be safe. my friend said they just got a dot audit due to the fatality in chicago and things are really strappin up. i see paperless logs coming. u think

I blew a recap trailer tire about a month ago and when I called it in he wanted the shop to take pics and said something about charging it back and I told him that would not be wise. He did not do it but it was a recap that blew so I don't see how that could of been my fault.

Staying out 4 or 5 weeks is how I have always done it the 12 years I have been driving. I do get to pass through quite a bit and stay overnight.

Honestly this is the smallest company I have worked for so after working for the bigger companies I really like it here. I just watch my speed and try to get the best fuel economy I can get and I am doing ok. I have only talked to one guy who does the KCM lease and yes I thought it is ridiculous that KCM keeps their fuel discounts but if the drivers allow them to do it and lease from them knowing that then that is their problem but I lease directly from Risinger so it don't concern me. By the way my fleet managers last name is Risinger so he has probably been there awhile.
