Everything you said as if you are asking why seems to miss the point that you were wrong and should have never been in that lane for any reason other than to avoid an accident. His actions to me are bad but yours is worst to me, two lanes and you get stuck behind a slower vehicle is no excuse to tie up traffic or act reckless. You agitating the situation makes it something of your fault, stop with the brights or the horn crap because even if you have a dash cam, does not mean you want to present something to the cop that you were in wrong to begin with when you slam into him.
Here in this state trucks are to be in the right two lanes except for exiting to the left or merging from the left - we have maybe five left lane exit and entrance ramps. However every morning when drive my kids or wife to work there is some clown trucker in the left or left center lane (on four lane) tying up traffic or having some other clown speeding swerve to miss them.
Road Rage or Self-proclaimed highway vigilante..

4mer trucker Thanks this.

I'm typically the the first to defend a driver, but OP was clearly out of bounds by moving into the prohibited lane.
The brake checker has a death wish and will get his in due time when he does it to a heavy hauler, but that never excuses moving into a prohibited lane.TROOPER to TRUCKER, bzinger, roshea and 1 other person Thank this. -

You made a mistake driver but I'm not gonna kill you for it. Nobody got hurt and hopefully this is a situation that sticks with you got next time.
Yes the 4 wheeler was road raging...2 wrongs don't make a right but at that point you gotta let him make his point and let him drive away. If it continues to the point it becomes unsafe then call it in. -
Here, trucks are legal in the left lane unless a sign prohibits it. -
MACK E-6 Thanks this.

65 in the center lane, 65 in the construction zone, 65 in the school zone, 65 through the fuel island... GO GO GO GO GO! Only 29 minutes left... GO, DRIVER, GO!!!
#### was a lot more laid back 25 years ago, when you'd just drive and worrying about logging it later.bzinger, IH Truck Guy, Blackshack46 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Going with the flow, the flow slowed and you decided it was time to move up one whole place in that flow. Somehow that turned into a road rage thing with high beams, continuous horn and brake checking. All that because you wanted to be one place ahead in the line of traffic. SMHLast edited: Nov 25, 2016
