    I truly feel sorry for today's roadside mechanics. With the language barrier in the country, I'm suprised this doesn't happen once a week. Now I got nothing against foreign drivers, as the few that I know personally are some of the hardest workers I know. Having said that, they don't understand how everything works around here, so you have to be absolutely sure they understand what your saying and take every precaution to make sure tragedies like this doesn't happen.

    Who knows what happened. You would think mechanic would have said hang on one second before you leave, I gotta go back under and check something. Maybe the 71 year old is hard of hearing and it sounded like “ you’re good to go, put her in gear, rev her up and dump the clutch!”

    Every time I do this, everyone behind me steps on the gas and rides the shoulder creating more danger to get past me quicker. So makes you wonder.
