I hate that scale. Both ways. At least it's easy to bypass.
I've run 1500 so far covering 5 states and haven't seen anything. Usually closed scales are still closed. No surprise checkpoints so far.
I have seen one truck pulled over this week and no idea if it was even an inspection. Looked like a no parking dodger.Rideandrepair and nikmirbre Thank this. -
Mississippi was hot and heavy on I-10
Rideandrepair and Truckermania Thank this. -
Indiana, I-65 South mm 241, Hebron, IN open for business. First time thru I got a green light, second got red but then hit the by-pass lane. Barn doors were open with trucks in for inspections both times thru.
Rideandrepair, snowlauncher and Sons Hero Thank this. -
Saw a lot of activity in PA, mostly roadside. Scales seemed to be running as normal.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Mostly they will be checking your brakes, so why not call it "BrakeCheck 2024"????
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Yesterday I went to Ft Smith and back. First time in a while I didn't pass any DOT cops on the 2 lane. Then today, I went by the Texas scale on I-30 near mm 155. Lights were out when I went by but there were 9 DOT cars in there. East and west bound Hope, Ar scales were packed with DOTs and working hard. My DriveWyze gave me the bypass.
Flat Earth Trucker, Rideandrepair, nikmirbre and 3 others Thank this.
