Congratulations on your completion of that phase, the toughest I would have to think. Yet, in my case I can't seem to bring myself to go into trucking even if the brightest side of the job would be to see most, if not all, the states of this great country of ours. The money, well it will be helpful in a way, but the time spent on the road might be harsher toward my future goals than I am capable of understanding at this point in time. You could say I am a bit discouraged due to all the negativity I see in this forum and other places on the web, but I guess my best bet would be to hear it from the drivers themselves as to how good or how bad this industry and various companies really are.

I've put off Roadmaster for sometime now but more and more I feel I should move forward with them and get on the road to a CDL and the freedom the road will provide me. Maybe I'm simply overthinking it all? Don't know, I just know I need a stable income and the freedom the road will provide.

    Any words of encouragement?

Kevin still there? Big heavy set guy, drove for tmc. Good job on passing, i went there for my cdl also. Everybody was very cool, they get the pad paved lol, it was in rough shape when i was there. Paul the young dude, he did the 90 degree on the pad, everybody didn't like him, i never had a problem with him lol.

Paul :druid:also talked to himself a lot and was usually rolling around 2 or 3 quarters in his hands and, always holding his head down talking to himself, and yes even his team mates seemed to shun him and he didn't much care!

Yep still on the quarter roll!! He was a decent guy, whenever I was heading for trouble he would correct me without getting gnarly about it. Basically a nice guy, just a bit of an odd duck!:biggrin_25521:
