First, let me say I'm sorry for your situation, second, it doesn't sound like the guy purposedly did that to you. Third, we've all been in bad spots, some worse than others, but all have. Many years ago, when I first started out, I was complaining one day to my mentor about how bad things were going for me, just one thing after another. He looked at me and said, "Son, life aint nothin but one big kick in the ### after another. The sooner you realize that the better of you'll be."

Of course I'm almost 40 and still have yet to get that through my head. I usually turn and run when youngsters quip to me about life's troubles. "Kid. I'm just as clueless as you."

Then we just sort of stare blankly into space. But yeah. This is trucking. Not nursing or engineering where a mistake there is less easier to run from.

I used to assume anyone older than me had it figured out. Truth is, we're all about equally clueless lol.

The good ol days pull the rubber strip from the the windshield. Kick the glass out, put new glass in, put the rubber strip back in. All done 15 minutes.

Anytime stuff like this happens, one always feels bummed, like after getting bit by a dog.In the 35 years, I'm sure I broke more than one window, can't be helped. Maybe the drivers BIL works for Safelite,,,you couldn't convince me otherwise, they have "mules" driving around rolling ball bearings out the back,,,but then, I'm the skeptical type.

I have never seen that word.

I tried looking it up before I asked you if it was a typo.

I found it. It's a real word. I like it!

    I learn something new everyday!

Maybe Safelite would be a good career change. I hear they offer training for window installs. Of course I'd be forced to work days and get reduced to crispy ash. A little off topic, but with employee shortages common now, I've noticed auto-related installer places like that seemed to always accept people right off the street and trained them throughout the years. I'm guessing low pay and toxic work environment?
