Really? Okay. We'll see how that turns out.

My guess is, a certain council member has a large property on the outskirts of town that has lots of holes and a barbed wire fence around it that he'll be glad to rent space for $150/month

This is a fairly common ordinance. But if you are parking your truck on your property now, you will be allowed to continue to do it. Zoning ordinances are usually not retroactive.
I am considering the purchase of a property within the city limits in a small town in Indiana. They have specifically written into the zoning code to allow a driver to bring his own truck without the trailer and park it on his residential property. That is a more reasonable way to do it. But there again, there are a significant number of driver/voters in the area.

    mjd4277 Thanks this.

Oh, just park it at Walmart. I'm sure that'll turn out just fine. What kind of idiots are these council members?
