Well, do you think that it's ok if a redneck doesn't want to train a black person because he doesn't like rap music?

Do you think there's men out there who have to pull over every two hours, and women who don't? Do you think there's men out there with prostate problems that cause them to have "frequency" or "urgency"? Do you think there's women out there with the same prostate problems.

Here's the issue with Roehl. "They are no different than any other company..! It's all about the bottom line, and when push comes to shove - you do not matter - period..!"

However, you can play their game and at least break even. Roehl's training for their drivers is great. However, Roehl's training for their DSRs and management team stinks..! Where is their understandability, their compassion, their manners..? They are non-existent. DSRs expect you to work an eleven hour driving day and up to the maximum fourteen hours for the working day.

The major problem I see in this industry is that there are way too many drivers who are to timid to stand up for themselves - therefore, they get screwed. Remember.., once someone (an individual or a corporation) finds they can take advantage of you, they will continue to do so.

    Stand Strong -- Stay United..!

I think it's absolutely fine that you shouldn't have to train someone you're uncomfortable driving with.

Yes, there are men out there that have to pee every two hours and women that don't--but we have an advantage and the guy in front would most likely never know if I peed in a bottle with the curtain closed.

Yes, and another yes. Is there a reason I should be forced to work with them?

It's funny you pick apart that single reason I mentioned. The simple fact is I wouldn't want to train a woman. Ever. The reason? It's one that hasn't been mentioned yet, and I feel no need to mention.

If you're going to complain about having to wait a few weeks for a trainer, you're going to have a lot more to complain about in the coming months. The Trucker's Report might have to get another hard drive to handle the database expansion if something this small requires so much complaining.

Ive been with Roehl for just under a year. Yes they are having problems with more students then trainers. This can be a plus for you in a matter of time because in time you can become a trainer and make more money. Roehl is not a perfect company, They have problems just like all companys. If your looking for the perfect company I suggest that you start your own. I have had my own problems with Roehl. Like many, I struggle to get home when Im supposed to and this tends to really tick me off. I also feel that Roehl is overly strick in comparision to other companys. But overall, trucking with them has been the best job that I have ever had. I also realize that after I have over a year with them I will be able to take that experiance anywhere and have a job in trucking. As Ive been told many times the first year in trucking will be my worst. So I suggest you do as I am, Just suck it up and get the first year over with.

Sport has it right. Home time seems to be an issue depending on where you live and what you haul.
I went from hauling the National dry van to the reefer division. I never had a problem getting home on van, and I am having a heck of a time with the reefers. I am going to switch back to van because of this.
I was talking to my wife about it and wondering how to do it without making someone mad, when my DSR called and suggested it. He said they were concerned with my getting home and didn't want to loose a good driver because of it.
Shows me that they actually do care about their drivers and the home time.

Well I finally finished and tested out to get my own truck.I have been on my own for 3 days now. I type this from my sleeper outside Ashville. I am glad I stuck with Roehl. It sucks that EVO I and II took over a month and a half. Alls good now, see you on the road.....

See that's bulls hit, they said it would take 10-13 days each, with a home time break in between. And I'm going to guess that you're not such a bad driver that you needed that long, they just did it.

Did they drive you team too? They better have not driven you team.

I'll bet you you won't complete evolution III in 4-6 weeks like they said. I'm still not sure what the difference between evolution III and regular driving is.
