I've been with Roehl for almost 3 years now, and they have been a good company. I did my training there, and feel that I was trained well. Nice people, great equipment, overall it has been a good experience. I would recommend them to anyone just starting out.

I see their trucks rolling down the road all the time, so business must be good! All I know is that each of these companies have different divisions, and YMMV depending on which division you hire on with. I know Averitt does a lot of LTL work, if that makes a difference to you.

You'd be hard pressed to find a company better than Maverick, everything is top notch from the facilities to the equipment and their orientation is the best I have ever heard of. Just my opinion of course, the only draw back for some is the automatic trucks and the power is turned way down, but they will get you most weekends if you have a regional run. And the recruiters shoot you straight too.

Glad to hear this, Zangief. I have a pre-hire letter with them now and will probably accept it and see where it goes. If you have any more information you would/could share, feel free to PM me.

Mavericks big plus is automatic trucks which really save the wear and tear on your leg when you are in traffic, it's more relaxing to drive too, better gas mileage too which is why more and more companies are switching to automatics every year. Maverick rules.
