Hello, I`m thinking of going to a company that will train me to get my CDL and pay for it. I was just curious if Roehl was better than Conway as far as training went and what each detailed. I`m from RI and I don`t see a lot of Roehl trucks around here, but I do see the Conway trucks. I`m just wondering which company had the better deal. Also where is the Roehl operating centers located in New England? :biggrin_2556:

Uh... we don't have any "operating centers" in the northeast at Roehl. We did have a terminal in New Hampshire, but it was closed down.

So,where is the closest center for New England or does Roehl even do any transporting up here or are they mostly concentrated to the south and west?:biggrin_25511:

When I was hauling reefers for Roehl, I used to go out east all the time. Then I didn't make it out there for a couple of months. I just thought it was a reward for doing a good job! Nope, Roehl is now shipping the loaded reefers out east on the train. Don't know about dry vans, but if Roehl is putting stuff on rails, it doesn't look good for the drivers.
