Click on the above link, when the page comes up, look to the far right, click on "Find Fleets". The "Find Fleets" page has a box where you can put in your zip code in Gilbert.

    Rioman,

I tried a bunch of zip coded in this area, Mesa Tempe Sciottsdale out there by you up north and so forth and they have notrhing available for rookies like you and I, I just say we go and get the experience and come back and bug them, They have all kinds of work for "Experienced" drivers in all of these areas. Take Care TD.

Roehl has a terminal in Fontana. As a team we had runs to Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and California. I don't know about solos. I don't think they hire that far out. I believe I was once told that there isn't a big enough customer base.

Well no go on the roehl, I talked to the recuiter and she was an awesome person. Very nice and helpful but I didn't realize that I would have to pay for the lodging and all that. The total would come out around 1000 dollars out of my pocket. And that doesn't sound a lot but when your in my situation it's hard to come by. Does anyone have any recommendation on a company sponsored school that will pretty much finance most of it and take it out of your paycheck if have to.

Check into Millis. I believe your out of pocket expense is $500. If you stay with them a year they will pay for your schooling. They take $25.00 a week from your check to cover the training. If you leave before the year you end up paying like $5000.00. Go to their website to confirm this. I am not sure my memory serves me correctly. don't want to be spreading bad info to a fellow trucker to be.:biggrin_25519: Good luck on your search and let us know how things work out for you.

You might also want to look into Watkins Shepard, they have a 4 week school.
