Hey yall:
I'm starting orientation with ROEHL this monday out at WI. Ive read every piece of paper they have sent me and asked them every question i could think of.... and i still feel lost. I also read about the physical test which is giving me nightmares, maybe its just rookie nerves hehe... I have searched the forums and there's not many comments on ROEHL out there, so any opinions or input from all you more experienced drivers would be greatly appreciated since i just dont have a clue about what to expect out there.. thanks for reading.

Is it school or just orientation? Double clutch, always double clutch. Get out and look when backing. Even if you're "pretty sure" you have enough room. They like seeing that. If you get an evo1 or evo2 trainer that's an ##### just go with the flow. This too will pass. Good luck.
EL_Killaa Thanks this. -
It's supposed to be orientation starting monday, and evo 1 right after that. I graduated from Roadmasters a few weeks ago, i was pre-hired while i was attending the school. Thanks for the tips
-
They hired from central florida ???
Things must be getting desperate !!! -
Well, their recruiter shows up at the school at least once a month. Me and another guy from my class got pre-hires from them. I thought i would be doing orientation in GA, but they decided to fly me out to WI this coming Sunday..

Hey EL KILLAA, I got a pre-hired at Roehl to, I have just done one week of school and am not shore what company to go to. I applied at 3 companys, Roehl, TMC, and Werner. And got approval for all 3 of them,I still have 2 more weeks to decide, where to go. Would love to have you to keep me updated on what you think of Roehl in the new few weeks. Im nervous to, I have never been in the trucking industry, been baker all my life, so all of this is all new to me.

Sure thing dude, i'll be bringing my laptop with me. I'll keep u updated as i can... -
I will be watching this thread too. Roehl is one of the companies I have applied to.
Best of luck to you El Killaa! I hope things go well for you at orientation. Bring some warm clothes dude - you're gonna need 'em. -
Well, Qualification day is over with. Passed the driving test and the pre-work screening in the morning. The drive was about 5-6 miles nothing fancy, make a few turns then come back in. Didn't have to do any backing yet, they'll do that one after evo2. Now we're looking forward to two days of classroom chatter hehe... but overall everything seems really good and professional so far..
