They run mostly internationals. There are a few freightliners that ive seen. Most the new ones are internationals.

If you have your CDL-A you can go through orientation and the two week training with a trainer. If you need your CDL then you can attend RDTC (Roehl's school) and get your CDL. Currently the fleet is made up of mainly Freightliners and Internationals. There are some Volvos and Kenworths mixed in. In the past Freightliners and International have been the back bone of the fleet.

If you have a Class A without training or experience you have to go to Roehl school.dude6710 Thanks this.

I'm still a newb so bare with me. Does this mean I need the CDL permit I get from passing the written at the DMV, or the actual license I get through a trucking school? Did Roehl reimburse your tuition if you did have to go through that route?
-
Ok Here's how it works. If you obtained you Class A with a school or have previous otr experirnce with another company you will not have to go to Roehl school. If you get your Class A on your on before you come, you still have to attend Roehl school because you have not been "trained". The only way to not have to attend Roehl school is to go to another Cdl school or have previous otr experience.

My tuition was not reimbursed because I went thru the WIA program in my home state. If you go to Roehl school you work your debt off. So for every so many miles a certain amount of the total in deleted. If you go to another Cdl school and pay out of pocket Roehl will reimburse you.

Thanks for the reply. I just did a bunch of research on this company to only find out they arent hiring in California. Major bummer
EDIT: I had it narrowed down to two companies. It was Roehl and Schneider. But I am reading mixed reviews of Schneider and I don't know where I want to turn to now. -
Call them to make sure because there s a new terminal in TX. You never know.

I think you can check your address on the Roehl website to see what positions are available for that area. I have been considering a personal relocation and Roehl was not hiring from some of the western states. It seems that the flatbed range goes much further than the van. Florida too is interesting because I know there are some Roehl drivers from Florida and from what I understand they are not hiring drivers from Florida at the time I looked into it. Apparently subject to change based on the circumstances.
