Thank you and everything is great. Yeah I had tmobile for broad band service but they really suck out on the road so I dropped them. Now I'm trying to save some money to get Verizon. Other than that I'm at a McDonald's now next to a pilot in La Grange, GA. doing a 34 hr reset searching the web. I dont have to deliver till monday so that why im down. I've been trying to maximize my clock so really have little time to get on here. I spend the 2 hrs I have talking to my wife. Keep it real

Ok, so after I was home for a week I was about to be sent out over the weekend. I really didn't want to deal with weekend dispatch and I had a doctors appointment to go to with my wife so I asked for that weekend off to. They gave it to me with no questions asked.
I went out Monday with a load of lumber from monroeville al going to a small town in Kentucky. After that I dead headed to ameristeel in Tennessee to get a load of steel headed to Des Moines Ia. Both of those trips went great. I was a little short for time on my first load but all went well. Both were live loads I had to tarp and man the lumber tarps will kill your energy.
The load I have now is a 7000 lbs head unit for a tractor. Only thing on my step and my fuel mileage is great. I went 1100 mile with pretty much nothing on me. Avg about 8.2 miles per gal and that boosted my overall up to 7.6 mpg. Got here with plenty of time to do a 34 and still get my half a day layover and make it on time to the con.
I don't know what happen but Thursday when I called in to find out about the load I'm on, I found out my fleet manger no longer works for the company. I was a little disappointed to find out about that. I mean I thought my fleet manger was cool. Then they told me my new fleet manager was green and still in school. I don't know what to think about that. I hope she can do her job and get me home on time with no hassles.
This last load was kind of a pain, I had to waste a bunch of my time waiting for the load. I probably could've done delivered another load and sent in the the trip sheet to get paid next week. Its probably do to the fact i dont have a fleet manager looking over my route. But all is good, starting off this week with a little over 1300 miles on my belt.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -

Your thread was very informative! I just graduated from my driving school here in Jacksonville, Fl. I was going to go with Werner but than i started looking at Roehl. I should be finding out here when my orientation will be. Quick question though, how long are the phases (phase 1 and 2)?
