I am stuck between at least three companies. Roehl, Maverick and Crete. I start driving school in August at PIA and then I will be looking for a company to drive for. Does Roehl assign you a truck? I would rather have an assigned truck for obvious reasons but most importantly; if its my home away from home, I want to spice it up a bit
Maverick and crete both assign trucks.

Argh! Can't post private messages since my post count is just 8. So I'll just paste everything here and hopefully get some of my questions answered.
I read your blog and just found it very informative. I just like to ask you a couple of qauestions regarding RDTC.
I'm planning to be a truck driver in a few months and would greatly appreciate some information regarding your experience with RDTC.
Firstly, how much in total would I need to complete the course? This includes lodging, food, laundry, etc. (meaning everything)
I noticed that you had free reign on how you practice, I mean either on the range or around marshfield, are you paying for your own fuel costs for the practice you do?
I have no experience with driving trucks what-so-ever, In fact I have driven compacts most of my entire driving life. Does this mean I'll have a harder time learning to drive these big rigs?
I really love reading your blogs. I find them very objective and fair. I look forward in reading your further expeditions in trucking. Good luck and God Bless.

Some groovy black light posters, maybe a disco table lamp, with lava lamp base.

Slip seating would suck! Alot like local driving. -
Hello:
I have heard great things about Roehl? I am just curious why do they hire in northern NY but not in southern NY? Does it have to do with the distance that you live from the nearest terminal?

I've got 20+ yrs of driving ex, and you've all got me interested im Roehl Transport. Planning on moving to Phoenix, from PA latter this year, and was wandering if Roehl is good about starting with them while living in like Pensylvania, and then moving to Phoenix, AZ latter on.
