This just isn't true. The dispatchers at Roehl dont assign the loads. There are load planners that assign loads according to the fleet. Regionals get first dibs, then the hometime fleets, then the national drivers are the low end on the pole. Your dispatchers just deal with the day to day operations of their drivers not the assignment of loads.

It depends on your location (where you are located) according to the availability of freight at the time. Roehl is a fuel miser company.
They will do what it takes to save fuel. They don't care what division you are in. "It is how Roehl can deliver the cheapest".
You think they would route a hometime driver 800 miles when a driver in national is 100 miles away!! Think again!!!
It is were you are located at the time the freight becomes available.shuffles Thanks this. -
thanks, spinpsychle i never thought about it i am going to contact her again tomorrow to make sure, I was just wondering cause my father in law runs a trucking company and he has more than enough room for me to park and i thought if i had the truck parked here it would get me back on the road quicker than driving somewhere to pick up the truck.

I trained with roehl and I didn't even make my full 120k. I quit and had to pAy back 1100$ ( which I didn't) I had few weeks where my check was 75$. How do you live off that? I asked and asked for miles new dispatcher etc. My tuck had no apu they cried and cried about my summer idle. 1500 miles a week? Walmart stocker gets more $ than that. I know drive a 70 mph Pete been running 3000-4000 steady for 7 months I been here. Roehl is only a starter company

A twic card, passport, and I think hazmat, for flat bed they will give grace period for passport I don't know about the others. you do not need twic for the others.
