I'm a former Roehl dispatcher, now I'm scratching my head and trying to figure out things that I have no experience with. it's been a long day.

They will sometimes leave you out over your 11 days. It all depends on a lot of variables. They had called me out early. Had me swap a load while on my hometime and gotten me back late too. It is all part of the job. When it happens more it needs addressed. I think it really will come down to the FM and how they run their drivers. I don't think roehl purposely trains them to stretch the driver out, though they do teach them to utilize drivers, so it could happen.
blaque if you've been a driver it may not be the best fit, but if you are new to the profession it will turn out to be a good learning place.
good luck! -
I am set to start RDTC Nov. 4th. Any information from students, past and present, and drivers would be great. I am driving up from NC so I really need to make sure I have all of my bases covered before I get there. Also I have seen nothing but great news about the company itself. If there is anything that I need to be aware of I would appreciate that info as well lol. Thanks!

What kind of equipment is Roehl running? I'm looking at starting OTR in September and considering Roehl

Where are they hiring for the curtainside division? That really interests me as does the flatbed/specialized division in general.

Almost all of the equipment is 2012 or newer (and lots of the trucks are closer to 2014s and 2015s). You can see the equipment on this page: http://www.roehl.jobs/experience/equipment There is a video on that page too.
